Ontario Northland - Northlander
The Northlander arrives at Toronto with old TEE (Trans-Europ Express) equipment. Built in 1957 and operated by Switzerland and the Netherlands till 1974. Ontario Northland acquired the TEE trainsets in 1976 and used them till 1992. The ON was having a lot of problems with the power coaches (leading the train here) so they started using FP7 units to power the train.

Jerry LaBoda General This isn't one of the power cars, it is simply a cab car. The power cars only had portholes on the sides and no seating... definitely looked like a locomotive. You can search this site or George Elwood's site for ONT 1981 and 1982 sots, where you will see the difference. 7/27/2011 6:05:36 PM
